What is the reusable tubing system intended for? The reusable tubing system is intended to facilitate the controlled infusion of silicone oil during ophthalmic surgical procedures, when used with compatible ophthalmic surgical equipment and in accordance with the product’s Instructions for Use. How should the tubing system be cleaned after use? After each procedure, the reusable components should be cleaned according to the validated procedure specified in the Care & Cleaning Instructions. Cleaning should remove residual silicone oil and other contaminants before disinfection or sterilization, as applicable. Do not use cleaning agents or procedures that have not been validated or specified by the manufacturer. |
